Is also good. There are so many example pictures to look at it can get overwhelming.

I'd like to have someone come in my house and decorate for me, like an interior designer, but my mom was one of those and they are not in touch with someone my age.... I feel ya man.

Not necessarily a forum, but http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ has some pretty cool stuff every now and then.

Is there somewhere I can go and find rooms until I find one I like and then buy all the stuff? I fall short when it comes to accessories in a room. I always just go for functionality and things end up not being tied together in style.

I'm not saying this is my style at ALL, I'm just giving an example.

Like all the vases and stuff on the shelves, pillows on the benches, etc. Almost every wall in my house is bare and I like it that way, as it feels clean and uncluttered, but I realize it then feels sterile.

^ I agree. I home is about self expression. Why would you want to live in a place that basically does not represent who you really are?

I can't post links yet because I'm a newbie but if you google "home decor forum" the first link looks promising.
