These too are perfect with a VG. I wouldn't change a thing. Well I wouldn't mind a TT VQ in it.....

The limits are well above where I'm interested in being.

The plenum is still too tall. I'd rather talk about Weber DCOEs on my 3.1L stroker L for the 240Z

Paint and body. I'm taking Friday off to finish up prep and hopefully lay some primer.

So, we filled the rear wiper hole:

Also knocked off the upper clutch bleed point and filled the holes for the HICAS pump that I'm throwing in the garbage.

We also switched from sandpaper to chemical stripper, which was a good time-saving move.

Finished stripping and blending the hood:

Laid some etching primer

Aren't those wheels your main/good set? I thought usually when doing body work on cars you used some cheap/banged up wheels so that your nice ones don't get damaged (e.g. by paint dust and stuff like that)

I'm going to be refinishing the wheels as well.

Plus, some niqqer stole the BBS logos out of the center caps.

Not much progress today, took the hatch off and dropped it off at the glass shop, and stripped a little more of the engine bay. I'm searching for good used glass for the hatch, since mine has several scratches on the inside.

Those are BBS RS wheels, which came stock on some your precious BMWs. The gold looks decent when the paint is clean.
