Also I'm pretty sure the SC shared the same brakes as the V8 cars, which were rubbish. This fixes it and offers up a better bolt pattern (Standard SN95-forward arrangement).

It is a shame I lost most of my Thunderbird pictures/videos. :/

Don't fault me for my parent's terrible taste.

It is probably a different story now but back then, the front hub assemblies were USA-made and cheap (~50 each) from Autozone. The rest (including rear hub assemblies) were purchased directly from the Ford dealer; not-so cheap.

woot, more pics, this time of the blower being ported.

You can see the markings of the desired end result:

lol so much material removed you could make a whole nother blower

After:

Inlet work (lol doesn't it look like the new crateface?):

Blower (with 10% overdrive pulley) with 70mm throttle body attached

Exhaust is done...

It's a combination of a pre-bent stainless kit with Jones mufflers (the large one in the center will function as both a crossover and resonator)

Various bits

Custom downpipes

Nice chrome tips (the downturn style is what Ford used with Thunderbird SCs and Mustang GTs of the time period)

Going up:

Looks pretty good I think

Thats a good looking exhaust. I like the turndowns, goes with those cars.

Is everything except the tips welded?

Looks like nice work. I hope this car pans out for you, I can imagine there's quite the anticipation of driving this thing every time you get a new set of pictures.

Before you slap that blower back on, see if your guy will weld up or jbweld the silencer slats on the side up. Most of the Lightning guys do it and it really makes the Supercharger scream when it's wound up.

GREAT progress so far. Keep the pics coming!
