It's a Ford F-250 pick-up truck, and it’s not that uncommon. I don’t drive for a living, I am a demolitions contractor. I break stuff for a living, other peoples stuff….

Guess you dont live anywhere near constuction, or the south...more trucks here than anything else, jeeze. Not to mention 100 miles a day really isnt that uncommon for non drivers.

My wife commuted completely across the DFW metroplex one school year. That was 100 miles a day.

If I get one of the jobs I'm after right now my commute will go from 3.6 miles (round trip) to anywhere from 40 miles a day to 70 miles a day.

An hour-long drive to work around here is 60+ miles. We don't have traffic problems unless we wind up with another horse in the highway

A house in the denser, more central suburbs that's just 2 bed 1 bath can run for almost $500k right now. Saves a lot of money to live in the sticks.

I'm a demolitions contractor, I go to where ever somebody needs something torn apart. I spend anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks at the same jobsite then move on to the next jobsite. The entire construction industry is pretty much like this.

I paid 2.24(9) for $30.00 in 87.

Central Indiana here. I realize that the price can only go up. :sadpanda:

Well I wasn't really referring to your type of job...I know about those types but I was thinking more of the stationary employed people.

Only state huh. Try biking 20 miles in the middle of winter in the midwest where it's about -10 degrees.
