I don't think he overcorrected, it's more that he didn't start bringing it back the other way until after the tail "caught".. it's like the most common mistake I see on videos like this, you have to be able to feel a car well enough to know when the rear end is going to catch so you don't have lock going the wrong way when it does... It's hard to explain, you can just feel when the car stops "rolling" and you know you have to IMMEDIATELY return steering to center before it shifts weight agian.

edit: The video is a good example of how fast you have to "saw at the wheel" sometimes.. I think that catches a lot of people off guard. I know I have watched a lot of crash videos caused by the driver just being wayyy too slow on the steering inputs
