2014 Camero refresh

So of course I have to keep up on all the latest and greatest Camero news...

The 2014 refresh was revealed which isn't a drastic change, but I think it was overall for the better, especially the rear.. although I'm not sure about those Integra tail lights. I still think they're an improvement over the 2010-2013 style.

Also this is the new Z28, which is now their Boss 302 competition with 7.0 LS7, 6 speed manual only, track suspensions, brakes, etc. and supposedly laps faster than the ZL1 (no doubt at the expense of ride comfort and stuff.. still pretty cool though)

I don't think integra - they fit in pretty well. Looks respectable as a whole, i don't see much difference. That interior though, classic chevy blah. At least it's not gaudy.

Funny how this (Z/28) comes along AFTER the Boss 302 swan song... despite rumors they would bring about a Z/28 since the dawn of the 5th-gen. It is certainly the perfect compliment to the car. The 7.0L N/A would make just about any car better.

I like the new styling, I just wish they would have given some MUCH needed attention to the interior. The new tailights are a wash for me; I like them but I really liked the old style too. My first thought was DC2 Integra or 2nd generation Prelude. Not bad comparisons by any means as both were stylistically fantastic cars and their rears were of particular fancy.

They missed the retroband wagon by 7 years when that ugly pos came out. Mustang and charger had it going for a nukber of years then gm thought theyd be cute and make a retro car of their own. I see mostly mustangs then chargers and 350/370zs then cameros.

Gm really missed the mark all together. Camero is just to damn big and expensive

GM has always been behind the curve design-wise, it's what you get when beancounter/"executive" committees make the design decisions, instead of designers. And not only the camero: the Me Too Cruiser (HHR) was the exact same thing, too lame, too late.

Still don't like it. If I were going for retro muscle it would be a Challenger R/T even though it's slower than a stang GT or Mulletmobile SS.
