Marvel vs. Capcom 3, or SSFIV?

I know that MVC3 isn't even out, but I just want some people to give me some feedback. I want a fighting game, so SSFIV is calling my name. On the other hand, MVC3 is right around the corner. Are the two games very much different? I'm not big on fighters, so I'm sure I sound like a moron to those in the know.

i could not get into SSF4 at all. it just felt weird, like a faster SF EX. I don't know, it just didn't feel right to me, (though i LOVE the original championship edition and SSF2 turbo)

MVC 3 could be fun, though i wasn't a fan of those long ass combos.

this post didn't help at all.

I was never into fighter's either except for Mortal Kombat back when I was a kid, but SSFIV was really fun. It's pretty easy to get into, easy to pick up and play a couple games.

MVC 3 is HUUGE. It's really cool if you're a fan of Marvel and etc, but the learning curve is a lot steeper and the combos are harder to pull off.

If you want simple, SSF4, if you want something crazy with tons going on, try MVC3 or even Guilty gear haha

I'm almost nervous that MVC3 will be too much of a game, like more time required than wow haha.

I liked fighters so much more when I just thought it was about hopping in a game and beating the shit outta someone. Maybe learn the move set for a character I like. It's almost turned into a job, memorizing combos, strats, counters, etc.

SF4 has been a good distraction, but it's not Marvel.
